The only plausible cancelstances that you can use with Decapitate is either Sprint or Dash. Or one of the new Ranger ones - Natural Stride.

Weapon swapping isn't that slow...as long as you can swap them using your keyboard.

And you can somehow mysteriously create 4 foes around you, use "To The Limit!", disintegrate those foes somehow, and use rush.

And Silk, define "shifty".

I have four bows on my cripshot. Poisonous Recurve, Crippling Recruve, Poisonous Short, Crippling Long. You can call it lack of skill, or crappiness of keyboard, but I've found myself using the wrong bow for a while without noticing before. Of course I use the keyboard, which is really the issue because I press the F buttons without looking, and therefore without knowing if they've taken effect. I realized that you have to press it immediatly before your attack-- otherwise there will be a slight pause after the attack itself in which the weapon change. This is risky when you're trying to use critical chop, 1/2 activation skill, to spike. I'd rather just use Exec Ecis Pene/Crit or something like that.

The most important part of this is that I like rush, of course, so everything else I said before may be bs then. I don't especially like to use energy skills for spike combos either, that is to say, I have not played with critical chop, though it looks fine I guess.

And also, after critical chop and sprint, you have 0 energy, now you have to wait to frenzy again (and for dash/sprint), bleh. I spam frenzy more than I do savage shot, so that's not gonna make me happy. I know I know, it won't be a long wait, but still.

Weapon swapping is slow. I'm not talking about the user interface, I'm talking about the forced delay after performing any action that has an activation time.

Try it:
- Stand still and swap weapons.
- Now cast a spell/attack and swap weapons.

There is a noticeable delay in the second case.

Not true, if you first initiate the attack (Cripplng Shot, for example), and press weapon change right before you draw the arrow, and then press savage shot, the bow will change just before the savage shot, and there will be no noticable delay. Both cripple and poison will be extended in that way.

It is, however, very annoying when you're multitasking. I don't care if it's "second nature". It's okay for casters because you're not attacking with your wand, but when you're constantly attacking as a ranger, and, to a lesser extent, warrior, the fact that the weapon switch will not take place if you don't press is right before you pull back your weapon (or somewhere along those lines) it will not take place, will become an issue.

There is definitely a delay. I monk for GvG. Switch-cast-switch is automatic for me, and I can feel the delay.

I just went into game and tested it again, just to make sure. There is a delay.

There is a delay. Playing a caster and being used to focus swapping, there is definitely a delay. However, I'd rather use weaponswap-CritChop rather than wait for a normal attack - hopefully the weaponswap-critchop is faster than an IAS'd normal attack.

Well then, yes, it is faster, if you're using a 1/2 activation skill. You use decapitate, finish your attack, and, delay if you will, activate the second lined up skill. I guess that counts as a delay, but it's still going to be a spike.
